Most performers find they have 10-12mins of actual performance time as slots are 15mins long total, including set-up and take-down time.
Scratch is opportunity for artists to get involved to display their work-in-progress. Audiences will have a chance to give their feedback on what they think about each piece. Helping us understand how to shape and build new work and improve practice.

This Autumn, Hollow Reed are proud to launch our inaugural New Writing Celebration, ‘Whispers from the Reed’. A project that exists with the sole purpose of assisting local writers to have their work realized and performed.
From a strong field of 40+ submissions by emerging writers and creatives across Belfast and Northern Ireland, our panel of local theatre-makers has selected four outstanding plays for production.
