Welcome to Accidental’s Comedy Club — the monthly meltdown of madness, where the misfits own the mic, the weirdos rule the room, and no topic is too taboo. It’s comedy turned up to eleven, where awkward is a compliment and WTF is part of the charm.

Scratch is opportunity for artists to get involved to display their work-in-progress. Audiences will have a chance to give their feedback on what they think about each piece. Helping us understand how to shape and build new work and improve practice.

This Autumn, Hollow Reed are proud to launch our inaugural New Writing Celebration, ‘Whispers from the Reed’. A project that exists with the sole purpose of assisting local writers to have their work realized and performed.

From a strong field of 40+ submissions by emerging writers and creatives across Belfast and Northern Ireland, our panel of local theatre-makers has selected four outstanding plays for production. These works will bridge the gap between a rehearsed reading and a fully realised show — staged on a tight budget yet elevated by the talent and creativity of a dedicated team of artists.
