The Bitter Fringes x Scratch
"We're Friends, Right?" by John Moriarty
Having struggled with body image since puberty, Finn has taken the plunge and started Life Modelling, though without telling his best friend and flatmate Paula, who has unwittingly signed up for the class. When they address what to do next, Pandora’s Box opens and a deluge of issues spills out on their kitchen table: privacy, boundaries, their respective partners, Paula’s wardrobe and Finn’s... difficulties maintaining eye contact. Amid this detritus, can they construct a conversation that is mutually enlightening, healing - one which could strengthen their friendship… or does their relationship simply not compute?
"We're Friends, Right?" stars Holly Hannaway and Conor Cupples, is directed by Darcey Youngman and produced by John Moriarty for YoJo Productions.
