Nathan Crothers & the Voices: A Work In Progress

“A Work in Progress” is a comedy show about work, progress, and the endless pursuit of perfection. 

Nathan Crothers &the Voices is a Belfast-based punk band consisting of founding and only member Nathan Crothers. Drawing on the Theatre of the Absurd and the anarchic traditions of punk, Nathan Crothers &the Voices uses play, humour and audience participation to explore community and connection through live performance.

Their debut solo show, “Untitled” Stand-Up Comedy, sold out at the Strand Arts Centre, Belfast, in 2023. In 2025, Nathan Crothers &the Voices were Artists in Residence at the MAC, Belfast, where they developed “A Work in Progress” (working title: In the Beginning, There Was Only...), supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
