Scratch

Accidental are helping to host more Scratch Nights to assist fellow artists in displaying new pieces of performance work in development and get them in front of audiences for feedback. This fantastic scratch format of performing fresh, experimental theatre in-progress has already been pioneered around the world and we want artists here to also have the chance to test out the brilliant art they want to make here.

We want as many artists or groups who want to, to get involved to display their work-in-progress. Audiences will have a chance to give their feedback on what they think about each piece. Helping us understand how to shape and build new work and improve practice.

If you have some work you would like to perform at this or future events, get in touch here.

Momento Mori

By Remi Shore

This piece began in Accidental Theatre and has been shaped by Scratch Night feedback. I have now completed a full length script I'm hoping to fully develop, but it's important to bring the developments to the Accidental Audience who have been crucial in shaping the current form of the script.

Chipped

By Darcey Youngman

Chipped! is a comedy, family drama play that takes place in a Chippy up North. Bonnie returns home after her father is in the Hospital, not only is she not allowed to see him yet, but she's been roped in to work a Friday night at the family Chippy with her younger brother, Ryan. Theres a storm outside, but one inside too.
