Ruth Bate, Music for Humans
Ruth Bate, Music for Humans
Ruth Bate is a Modern Artist and the founder and CEO of Plato’s House Limited, a company created to express Art ideas and exemplify creative freedom by utilising forms found in daily life: music, clothes, installations, homeware, objects, images, photography, books, magazines, digital media, and graphic design.
Plato’s House's first event will focus on music — a foundational Art form for the brand — showcasing three distinctly different performances by Ruth Bate.
The first performance will be the premiere of his long-awaited neoclassical album, North Korea. The concept of the album is that Ruth has been asked by the North Korean government to create new propaganda music for the nation — and he said yes

Plato’s House's first event will focus on music — a foundational Art form for the brand — showcasing three distinctly different performances by Ruth Bate.
The first performance will be the premiere of his long-awaited neoclassical album, North Korea. The concept of the album is that Ruth has been asked by the North Korean government to create new propaganda music for the nation — and he said yes.
The second performance will be the debut of Ruth Bate’s first rap album, (RAP ARTIST). The album explores addiction, absurdity, grandiosity, self-introspection, and freedom.
The third performance will be a collection of old and new material from his solo work as Ruth Bate and with his band Modern Blonde. Not genre-specific — ranging from alternative to rock and pop.
Plato’s House supports the discovery of Art in real life and believes that in an age of unparalleled commodification, Art made within the context of a contemporary brand has the power to enter into a deeper conversation with people — by doing so within the vernacular of the time.
The commodification of our time also brings with it unparalleled means of production. Plato’s House aims to make Art that feels alive and attainable. The intimacy that ownership brings to an Artwork is transformational. PH wants to make works that are affordable, interconnected, and guided by a creative philosophy — becoming a tangible world that brings consciousness and creativity to habituated consumerism.
We are sliding into the Vague New World. The pursuit of the Art Life — a life where the Art experience stands at the top of the totem pole of daily priorities — is a key to changing reality by way of the mind, leading to freedom.
