As digital innovation, hybrid performance models, and new production technologies reshape how work is made and shared, creative practitioners need future-focused skills that combine technical capability with bold artistic thinking.
Designed for early- and mid-career creatives, the programme offers a practical, hands-on pathway for developing skills through structured courses and talks, case studies, and learning through practice. Participants receive constructive peer and facilitator feedback within a supported learning environment, alongside mentoring and ongoing support. Practical training is delivered using real-world events in a live venue context, strengthening creative and technical foundations while building confidence in collaborative working and professional practice.

This interactive half-day session is a practical introduction to immersive video, with a focus on 180° video. Designed for artists, filmmakers, theatre-makers and digital storytellers, it will give you the chance to explore how immersive video works, experience examples for yourself and get hands-on with the technology.
You don’t need any previous experience with immersive video or specialist equipment. The session is designed as an accessible starting point for anyone interested in how immersive video can create new ways of telling stories and engaging audiences.
