Re-Vision: Speak it Now Eat It

Re-Vision Performing Arts Festival is a festival which works to promote social inclusion, diversity and equality through diverse performing arts. Re-Vision takes place annually in Belfast, Northern Ireland, this year from 25-27th November 2022. Under the title ‘Play/Pause’, it aims to addresses how identities are negotiated through performativity and technology.

Speak It Now Eat It 2022, Re-Visions Opening Event, introduces artists that exploit the performative elements of spoken word, video art and collaboration. The participating artists; Nine Raths (N.Ireland), Maja Renn (Switzerland), Cailean Finn (Ireland), Neonatus.Exe (Cyberspace) and a collaborative work by Sinead O’Donnell (Ireland), Ratu Rizkitasari Saraswati (Indonesia) and Una Walker (Ireland), address how identities are negotiated through performativity and technology.

Fresh and aspiring artists will be introduced to the public, raising crucial questions of our society today.

This event aims for the experience of performances and screenings that dwell into humanity, diversity and mental health. The goal is to offer a space to come together and learn differences, experiences and emotional journeys.
