Role Overview
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Front of House Staff to join our team and help deliver a welcoming and safe experience for audiences and artists. As the first point of contact for visitors to Accidental Theatre, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our events run smoothly and that everyone feels at home in our space.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist audience members on arrival
Check tickets and manage audience entry
Provide information about the event and venue
Operate the bar (training provided) and handle payments
Ensure the venue is clean, tidy, and accessible
Support artists and performers as needed
Uphold health & safety and fire evacuation procedures
Assist with basic set-up and pack-down of events
Represent Accidental Theatre in a friendly and professional manner
Person Specification
Essential:
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Friendly, approachable, and calm under pressure
Able to work independently and take initiative
Punctual and reliable
Willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Interest in the arts and community events
Desirable:
Previous experience in a front of house, hospitality or events role
Bar or cash handling experience
First Aid or Fire Warden training (or willingness to undertake it)
