Accessibility
The Building
Accidental is an accessible building, our Theatre space is accessed by the entrance off Shaftsbury Square or the Stage Door on Albion Lane.
They are both at street level and step free.
To access the bathrooms, Book Bar, Meeting Room and Rehearsal Room we have a wheelchair platform lift that runs the full height of the building.
Our bathrooms on the 1st floor and 2nd floor have an accessible toilet.
Getting Here
There are on-street car parking spaces available in the area.
The nearest car park is located at Donegal Pass pay and display carpark.
Accidental is close to a number of bus routes. Route 7, via Botanic Avenue and routes 8 and 9 via Bradbury Place.
The nearest train station is located on Botanic Avenue a short distance form the venue.
If you need a close drop off point you can be dropped off next to the Stage Door on Albion Lane, shown in the picture opposite.
Finding Our Rooms
If you have come to the Accidental for a public event a member of our Front of House team will be there to direct you around the building.
If you have come for a private event, meeting or rehearsal. Screens showing what floor each room is located on is in the stairwell of the Stage Door.
There is also a building map located in the lift.
Our Lift
Our lift is accessed via the Theatre and the stairwell of the Stage Door.
Its dimensions are ….
Once in the lift make sure the doors are closed and you are not touching the sides.
Hold down the button of the floor you wish to go to. The lift will automatically stop at that floor.
If you cannot hold down the button the lift can be called to the 1st and 2nd floors by pressing the button on the outside of the lift, on the floor you wish to go to.
