Introduction to Improv 101

Mondays Starting 18 March 2019

Improvisation is the art of spontaneously and effortlessly performing without a script. Improv Comedy was brought to mainstream audiences in the UK and Ireland through the popular TV show ‘Whose Line is it Anyway?’, and continues to entertain people in theatres up and down the country.

Follow in the footsteps of comedic improvisers Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Mike Myers, Robin Williams, Will Ferrell, and Stephen Colbert, and explore your potential!

This class culminates in a performance.

Ecstatic Dance Belfast

Monday 11th March 2019

A fun & liberating evening of dancing without a care in the world!

Ecstatic dance is a conscious free-style form of dance where you completely let go and allow yourself to flow with the rhythm of the music. We let go of fear of judgement, of caring what others think and any stress/tension we’re holding in our bodies. It’s all about FREEDOM, EMPOWERMENT & SELF-EXPLORATION. Ecstatic dance is extremely liberating and stress-relieving.

We hold so many suppressed emotions within our body, where they become trapped and materialise as stress, tension, anxiety, overthinking etc. This stuck energy creates physical and mental dis-ease. One incredibly effective way to move and release the stuck energy is through DANCE.

We drop down out of our egos to connect with ourselves and with like-minded people. We release the inner child within us to play and stop taking ourselves so seriously. Express yourself through radical dancing that liberates your body, mind and soul. You decide how you dance, you are the creator during this fun evening and you go at your own pace. It’s a safe, chilled out and fun space to free yourself! My events are all about community and healing, there is no judgement - we rise together!

Do you ever want to just dance but don’t want to drink to do it? I feel you! We dance without alcohol. No shoes, partner or experience necessary! Men and women are both welcome, even if you have never been to this type of event before. Don’t overthink it, just come!

Arrive from 7.15pm to start at 7.30pm. Please bring water!
