We have a select number of prints left from THE LOST MARTINI, specially made by artist Leo Boyd for our production. They are gorgeous screen prints that depict two of the previous incarnations of the famous jazz café we created.

About Leo Boyd

My background in the arts began when I was given a box of comics around the age of ten. I became fascinated by the way images could tell complex stories and have always been interested in the synesthetic interplay between picture and text. Later I became influenced by the propaganda posters of the Spanish Civil War and the Russian Communist uprising. These early experiments, designed to teach complex lessons to a populace who could barely read, have greatly influenced all of the visual art of the 20th century. In a sense when I make images I am creating propaganda pieces for a world that does not yet, or does not quite exist.

About the Lost Martini

While the world loses its way for a cocktail of self-help and selfies, the regulars at THE LOST MARTINI know better. Friendship and connection are what they treasure, it's what gives their lives meaning. They sometimes speak out against a brash world, often they stay silent -- but not tonight. Come to this late-night jazz café before closing time; the regulars are already there. Walk with them, mingle, dance, hear their stories, and find out why THE LOST MARTINI means so much to Belfast.
