Fast & Loose Casting

SCROLL DOWN

Fast & Loose Casting

Production: Fast & Loose 2017

Returning for another year, we're ecstatic to produce the latest version of Fast & Loose. Four new mini-plays are written overnight in this twenty-four hour play project. A bold and often breathless experiment in playmaking and inspiring creativity, all housed in one theatre over twenty-four hours.

We're now casting for up to twelve actors to take part in this fantastic project. There are no age, gender, ethnicity or other casting restrictions for the project. We're excited to hear from anyone who is interested in taking part. Performers will need to be available all day from 9am - 10pm on the Saturday (date tbc). And in the evening for a meeting on Friday beforehand between 6-7pm.

Actors will be rehearsing and then performing brand new scripts written the night before. The performances are off-book as much as possible so this performance is not for the faint of heart. The results are often unpredictable, unique and uplifting, showcasing some of the finest theatre and creative artists working in Northern Ireland today.

How to Apply

You can apply for the project by emailing: info@accidentaltheatre.co.uk With an expression of interest, details of your experience (CV) and a headshot.

We apologise that we can only reply to those called to audition or invited to perform.

The Play Shop Call

The Play Shop Call

Project: The Play Shop

We're looking for solo performers, companies and other artists with existing performance ideas who may be interested in a new project being developed by Accidental. The Play Shop is currently in development and is designed to be a platform for performers to stage one-to-one, and other small shows on an ongoing basis.

The Play Shop is envisioned as a physical pop-up shop that will be open on weekends and be a hub for new performances around the city that are happening that weekend. A sort of pop-up box office with a particular focus on one-to-one, small audience, street and bijou performances.

We want the project to be able to support a whole host of new work and artists that wouldn't typically be brought together. Creating a model to support new and experimental work sustainably.

How to Apply

If you're interested please let us know by emailing: info@accidentaltheatre.co.uk With an expression of interest, details of your experience (CV) and what you may like to perform.

Applications are ongoing.
