Return to The Sticky Bivouac

Nominated for Best New Show at the prestigious Leicester Comedy Festival, it gained 4 & 5 star reviews, and it is the show that started the ball rolling for Paul in the comedy world and cemented his name on the UK comedy map as a truly original comedian to watch out for.

This year the Edinburgh Fringe 2018 saw Paul have his best Fringe yet with his 5th hour long live show, performing to sell out shows every single night of the run in a 130 capacity room (this is no mean feet with no TV exposure, just word of mouth).

He also took home 3 x 5 star reviews, and won the Edinburgh Fringe Barry Award for Best Show, as well as massive praise from legendary comedian Phil Jupitus who said "one of the best Solo Comedy shows I've ever seen at the fringe".

So Currie has decided to treat the Accidental Comedy Week to a new polished version of the show that kicked it all off for him, THE STICKY BIVOUAC! (Plus some brand new bits thrown in.)

"Paul Currie must be mental, utter crazy, to come up with a show like ‘The Sticky Bivouac’. I have never encountered anything as surreal, not even on TV nevermind on stage" - Punchline
"Brilliantly Funny madness" - Chortle
"Currie is a disturbingly brilliant comic who plays his crowd like the conductor of an orchestra" - Broadway Baby ★★★★★
"Curries comedy is Unique. A new standard has been set for the fringe" - The Skinny ★★★★★
"Paul Currie is a man completely in tune with his audience, refusing to stop until every single drop of laughter has been squeezed from their bodies" - The Skinny ★★★★★
"It was like watching the Monty Python version of stand up" - Ed Fest ★★★★★
