Othello

The Bright Umbrella Drama Co. present William Shakespeare’s OTHELLO.  Timeless themes of racial tension, jealousy, anger, love and lust are laid bare in Shakespeare’s Othello.  Without conscience, incapable of affection, without guilt and in love with wickedness, the psychopathic Iago poisons the atmosphere of a close, closed military camp and turns the jealous thoughts of Shakespeare’s flawed hero Othello towards murder.  Right and wrong, black and white, light and darkness are explored in this abridged (80 minute) version of Shakespeare’s psychological masterpiece.

Suitable for school and adult audiences.
