Butter Side Up- The Podcast

with Leonie McDonagh
Featuring Donal Scullion and Maeve Finn

Expect stories like the tale of Earl Livingston, who fell and broke his hip on his way to buy a lottery ticket, only to win the jackpot at Jefferson Stratford Hospital’s weekly lotto.

Or Stacey Truman, cafe manager at Kingston Elementary School, who wrote messages of encouragement to pupils on the skins of bananas served at break time.

Or how about the six month old golden retriever in Arizona that got between its owner and a rattlesnake ? When it recovered from its injuries, it was rightly awarded the ‘Dog Of The Year’ trophy.

Leonie McDonagh is from Galway, but moved north to make Belfast her home. She’s a woman who strongly believes in making her own fun. Known for her irresistible enthusiasm, Leonie’s a founding member of ponydance theatre company and a stand-up comedian with attitude and verve. Just the person to talk to the people who, by accident or design, are making our world a brighter place. And proving that, when our toast hits the floor, it really does land butter side up.
