Hi all

We just finished up with our shows at Pop-Up Pick ‘n’ Mix. Everything went really well, I’m very pleased and proud of how the show turned out. But we did have an excellent cast and crew, so that always helps. It has been a long and tiring weekend, but I am a little sad that it is over. Two shows is really just warming up, and good preparation for our London shows. Can’t wait until Accidental goes on tour!

Apart from that, stay tuned for our next set of rehearsed readings. We had some preview flyers for those who seen our show this weekend, but more will be appearing around Belfast soon. First one is in July, so we will be getting stuck into preparations for that as soon as we recover.

Toodles

I have been spending tonight attempting to sort out the start of my research for the outreach programme. I am shocked by the amount of exam boards there are! I know that only a few are actually used, and not all feature drama programmes, but at last count, 86. No need. I’m pretty well on my way to getting the amount of general information needed to start the proper research on the plays and directorial styles etc. There are not nearly enough hours in the day for this type of work.

On another note, the rehearsals for our next rehearsed reading starts on sunday. I am intrigued as to how it is going to be staged as a reading, as it is quite physical at times. Shall have to wait and see!
